Dave joined the Spottswood Companies' Team in 2012 after moving to Key West. Before this, he was with the Imagin Asia Restaurant Management Group and involved with the well-known Dragonfly restaurant concept in Gainesville and Orlando.

Since becoming part of the Spottswood Team, Dave has taken on various roles, including Food & Beverage Director, Corporate Director, Operations Manager, and Hotel Manager, consistently proving to be a valuable asset. In 2014, Dave's contributions were recognized when he received the Restaurateur of the Year award from Marriott properties nationwide. He often shares a sentiment common in the hospitality industry: that practical experience trumps textbook knowledge.

In addition to his work at Spottswood Companies, Dave previously served on the board of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association for Monroe County and is currently a board member for the Greater Key West Chamber of Commerce.

Known for leading by example, Dave prioritizes mentoring and motivating his team daily. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
